Rex Begonia "Spitfire" Well-Rooted Cuttings Red and Silver
These are Grown in Montana cuttings of a Rex Begonia "Spitfire", with beautiful broad, jagged-edged leaves coming to a sassy point at the end with red stems. The leaves are a gorgeous mauve to dark maroon red in the center, and edged with silvery light green. The leaves have a beautiful metallic sheen you do not see in most plants.
The cuttings are 4-6" well-rooted in water in florists tubes. These are fairly easy houseplants to grow, do not need much light, and always look lovely! They do grow small flowers that are fairly unremarkable, and are not shown here. The "Spitfire" is a small variety, growing only about 8-10" tall and 8-12" inches wide. The Rex Begonia is a great houseplant for those who forget to water sometimes, as it is fairly drought tolerant for a tropical houseplant.
Once rooted in soil this is a plant difficulty Level 2 - Moderate, fairly easy care and forgiving of small to medium error.
Due to the trickiness of moving to soil from water this product is a difficulty Level 3 - Advanced, grows in most homes with no to minimal equipment and requires some knowledge.
All of our plants and flowers are grown in idyllic Livingston, Montana.
