Caladium bicolor "Carolyn Whorton" 3.5" nursery pot
Caladium are beautiful tropical houseplants native to South and Central America prized for their colorful extravagant heart shaped foliage. They have voodoo lily-like flowers that are short lived and considered by many to be unremarkable. They are mostly shade lovers, though some can tolerate partial sun. Caladium companion well with other tropical houseplants like bananas and begonias. They grow best when allowed to go dormant for a short period of time in the winter.
Caladium bicolor (Angel Wings) "Carolyn Whorton" is a sassy cultivar with large sized deep green leaves with blood red veins surrounded by red splashes that fade to pink as the lead matures. This variety can get up to 24 inches tall, and like other tropical plants likes some humidity and tolerates high humidity well.
This is a houseplant difficulty level 2; moderate difficulty, fairly easy to care for and forgiving of small to medium error.
This listing is for single plants in 3.5 inch nursery pots. Receipt and care instructions included. All plants are certified Grown in Montana.
