Caladium bicolor "White Queen" 3.5" nursery pot
Caladium are dramatic tropical houseplants native to South and Central America prized for their colorful extravagant heart shaped foliage. They have voodoo lily-like flowers that are short lived and considered by many to be unremarkable. They are mostly shade lovers, though some can tolerate partial sun. Caladium companion well with other tropical houseplants like bananas and begonias. They grow best when allowed to go dormant for a short period of time in the winter.
Caladium bicolor (Angel Wings) "White Queen" is a unique cultivar with large sized ghostly white leaves featuring stunning blood red veins that bleed out into pink in the white. The leaves change color as they mature, and start out more green. The white leaf portions are delicately ghost-like in that they are semi-transparent. This variety can get up to about 30" tall and can tolerate some sun, and like other tropical plants likes some humidity and tolerates high humidity well.
This is a houseplant difficulty level 2; moderate difficulty, fairly easy to care for and forgiving of small to medium error.
